Nicole’s wish was to have a petting zoo brought to her home for her son to enjoy.
For Nicole, her wish was all about bringing joy and a smile to her 4-year-old son’s face. With this in mind, Ambulance Wish Queensland was happy to work with Brisbane Pony Parties to bring a collection of baby animals to Nicole’s home, to create memories forever, for herself and her family.
On the 8th of June 2023, Nicole, her son and mother, Bev, were greeted by a menagerie of baby animals including 2 Guinea pigs, a family of 5-day old chicks, 1 baby goat named Lucy Loo and a 5-week-old lamb named Sean the Sheep.
As Nicole cradled the baby chicks, she watched her son roaming around the house with a gigantic smile across his face, as he played with Lucy Loo and Sean the sheep and cuddled the guinea pigs and baby chicks. To Nicole’s delight, her son was even given the opportunity to feed Lucy Loo from a bottle.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Dale, Elisabeth and Clarence for fulfilling this last wish and Ange Costes Photography for creating memories forever for their loved ones.
Thank you to our service partner Ipswich Nurses and the support of Brisbane Pony Parties on this special occasion.
