Kienan’s wish was to watch Jackass Forever the movie with his mates and family
Kienan loves being surrounded by friends and family, enjoying good times and laughter in good company.
His wish was to spend time with his family and mates, outside of the hospital enjoying time together doing something normal. Thanks to Event Cinemas Robina and Ambulance Wish Queensland, Kienan was able to do just that, attending a Gold Class private screening of Jackass Forever with his wife Olivia, mum Nicole, dad David, and 12 of his closest pals who had taken the morning off work to join him in the cinema.
Armed with popcorn and soft drinks, Kienan, who had not slept the night before through excitement, took his place in the cinema, settling into one of the luxurious seats to take in the crazy antics of Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O and the Jackass crew.
Cue much craziness and raucous laughter for a couple of hours, Kienan was living life outside of the hospital and doing something that meant so much to him, his family and friends.
Thank you to our Wish Team Kristy, Bethany and Dale, and to Gold Coast HHS – Robina Hospital Palliative Care Unit for making this wish come true, creating memories forever.
Thank you to Event Cinemas Robina who went over and above to help fulfil Kienan’s wish.
Ambulance Wish Queensland is proudly supported by the Queensland Government, and we thank the staff and volunteers at both Queensland Health and Queensland Ambulance Service who help our Palliative Care Queensland team to fulfil wishes and create memories forever.
