Jack’s wish was to see the dolphins at Sea World with his family and friends

Joined by mum Jan and stepfather Shaun, brother Nick, sister-in-law Caitlin, Aunt Julia, Uncle Sam, cousins Hannah and Sian, friends Josh and Lindy, as well as his wonderful support worker Kylie, Jack was transported in Wish Ambulance ‘Ross’ to enjoy a day like no other with our fabulous friends at Sea World.

On arrival, Jack and his crew were greeted by the Sea World Team and taken to the dolphins, not in the main arena, but via a special entry to Dolphin Beach for a private show with two of the park’s resident entertainers Howie and RAAF.

Displaying their intelligence, grace and beauty, the dolphins thrilled Jack with their antics while he smiled and gave the thumbs up as memories forever were created for him and his loved ones. After the private dolphin show, Jack went to penguin point to spend some time watching the park’s colony of Little Penguins, the world’s smallest penguin species, that never fail to entertain as they hop across the rocks and fly through the water.

And what could possibly top two perfect animal encounters? A delicious ice cream, of course, with Jack enjoying a tasty cooling chocolate ice cream to round out the day.

Thank you to our wonderful wish team John, Kristy, Sam and Aine for fulling this last wish and Ange Costes Photography for creating memories forever. Thank you once again to Sea World for going above and beyond to support Jack’s final wish.

Thank you to Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service – Community Palliative Care Service for partnering with us on this special occasion to fulfil Jack’s wish.
