Annette’s Wish was to go for a ride in a hummer

Annette is one of those lovely people you are fortunate to meet in life who just knows how to have fun, so for her Wish, we were not surprised that fun was high on the agenda.

Joined by daughter Chloe, granddaughter Charlotte, best friend Shauna and her mum Joan, Annette’s wish was to take a trip to the ocean but with a difference. She wanted tunes, excitement, and a truly eye-catching vehicle to match her outlook on life and personality. Well, there really was only one option, wasn’t there? A bright pink stretched Hummer.

On seeing the Hummer in it’s perfect Barbie pink, it’s fair to say the only thing brighter was the smile on Annette’s face, and as they entered the world of limousine luxury, we knew that what was to follow would be special.

  • Music selected.
  • Volume turned up to 11.
  • Dance moves at the ready.
  • Smiles on dials.

Let’s get this party started!

And just like that, they were off to Burleigh Heads accompanied by the sounds of P!nk and Abba, some truly spectacular groovin’ moves and a lovely sing-a-long, in what we reckon was a style fitting for our dancing queens! On arrival at Burleigh Heads, Annette left behind the Hummer to take the chance to look out over the beautiful waters and watch as her granddaughter Charlotte cartwheeled across the headland. As our lovely family and friends enjoyed tucking into some delicious French patisseries, we’re pretty confident that some spectacular memories forever have been created for a fun-loving Nan and those she loves most in the world.

Thank you to our wonderful wish team Dale, Gavin, Bethany and Java for fulling this last wish and Ange Costes Photography for creating memories forever.

Thank you to Robina Hospital Palliative Care Unit for partnering with us on this special occasion to fulfil Annette’s wish and Get Hummered for going above and beyond to take Annette for her ride.
