Troy’s wish was to have a day out at South with his daughters, complete with a ride up and down the Brisbane River.

Precious time spent together as a family. Troy’s wish was to have a day out at South Bank.

What started out as a beautiful day, unfolded into an incredible level of community support. Troy, along with his daughters, wife and family, were treated to a private cruise up and down the Brisbane River, courtesy of Brisbane River Ferries. Troy sat out on the bow as the boat leisurely made its way by the city, under bridges and over wakes.

After the cruise, Troy took his daughters to play in the water at Streets Beach, where he watched them laugh, splash and soak up a carefree moment of joy together. A thoughtful goody bag from South Bank Corporation added an extra touch of fun.

A special day for a special family.
