Tom’s Wish was to have family photos at Moffat Beach
As the afternoon sun kissed the shores of Moffat Beach, Tom’s Wish was to capture precious memories with his loved ones against the backdrop of the picturesque Coral Sea.
With his wife, newborn and parents by his side, Tom had intimate family time outside the confides of the hospital. Time spent bonding with his newborn and reliving memories with his family whilst watching on as the ships pulled into the bay. A reminder of nature’s vast beauty and an opportunity to create memories that will be treasured for years to come.
To finish the wish; a classic beach meal: fish and chips.
Wishes like these are a beautiful reminder of the joys that await by embracing the simplicity of life. Something we can take for granted but has incredible meaning to those with a life limiting illness.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Sue, Sophie and Christian for fulfilling this last wish and Annie from Adore You Photography for creating memories forever for Tom’s loved ones.
Thank you to our specialist palliative care service partner Sunshine Coast HHS Dove House on this special occasion.
