Tameka’s Wish was to have a photoshoot with her family and create some everlasting memories
On a beautiful Brisbane winter day, Tameka’s Wish was to capture memories forever with her loved ones with a family photo shoot.
Joined by mum Ingrid, children Shannesse, Zairah, Bella, Lachlan and sister Kathryn and son Arthur, the family were able to capture a beautiful family moment with the support of Ambulance Wish Queensland and Annie from Adore You Photography.
Taking place on the lawn, with the sun shining, Ingrid’s home was the perfect backdrop for the lovely shoot, and everyone was delighted with the results. We can’t help but be moved by the joy, love and connection the photos show.
Memories were also rekindled through our Ambulance Wish Queensland Wish Blanket lovingly donated by the members of the St Mark’s Craft Boyne Island CQ members, which, when gifted to Tameka, both she and her sister Kathryn commented that they were thankful for the quilt as it brought back memories of when they used to go to sewing club together as kids.
They say a picture paints a thousand words, so let’s allow the pictures to take up the story of this wish.
Thank you to Molly and Kevin who helped fulfil Tameka’s Wish and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Community Palliative Care as well as Annie from Adore You Photography for their support.
Ambulance Wish Queensland is proudly supported by the Queensland Government, and we thank the staff and volunteers at both Queensland Health and Queensland Ambulance Service who help our Palliative Care Queensland team to fulfil wishes and create memories forever.
