Stacey’s wish was to visit Tallebudgera Creek with her family and friends
A wish that brought a lifetime of memories full circle. Stacey’s wish was to return to Tallebudgera Creek, surrounded by her family and friends.
Some of Stacey’s fondest memories were here as a child, visiting with her parents. Over the years, the same special place became a part of her own story, shared with her children, and later, her grandchildren.
With her family’s assistance, Stacey was able to make her way down to the water and enter the creek once again, supported every step of the way.
A moment like this ensures this special place will continue to be part of her family’s story for years to come.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Kristy, Tom and Hiromi for fulfilling this last wish and John from John Bradbury Photography for creating memories forever for Stacey’s loved ones.
Thank you to our service partner Gold Coast Health and Hospital Service – Robina Hospital and the support of Neptune Royal Life Saving Club on this special occasion.
Ambulance Wish Queensland is the signature program of Palliative Care Queensland and is proudly supported by the Queensland Government, and we thank the staff and volunteers at both Queensland Health and Queensland Ambulance Service who help our team to fulfil wishes and create memories.
We would also like to thank our Foundation Sponsors GQS and Mingary Care for their sponsorship of Ambulance Wish Queensland
