PCQ Trivia Night – Turn Back Time in Support of Ambulance Wish Queensland

On Saturday the 26th of October, over 80 guests gathered to relive the iconic 80s in support of Ambulance Wish Queensland, raising an incredible $4,255! This fantastic sum, achieved through ticket sales and raffle tickets will directly help fulfil the last wishes of those living with a life limiting illness across Queensland. The event wasn’t just about fun – it was a powerful reminder of how community and compassion can make a meaningful impact.

The evening, organised in collaboration with the dedicated Angela Lane and Ainsleigh Johnson from the Metro South Palliative Care Service at Princess Alexandra Hospital, saw attendees fully embracing the 80s theme with spectacular costumes and competitive spirits. The room was a sea of colourful neon, with guests dressed as classic characters like KISS frontmen, Freddy Mercury from “I want to Break Free”, Where’s Wally, Ghost Busters and more. In a crowd filled with creative costumes, the Best Dressed Female was awarded to a spot-on Beetlejuice, while Best Dressed Male went to a dazzling Prince in his “Purple Rain” ensemble.

With hilarious hosting from Scott of the Giggle Group, the evening included lively 80s trivia, amazing door prizes and a raffle packed with surprises. The atmosphere was electric, blending laughter, nostalgia and a purpose.
