Neil’s Wish was to go bird watching on Mt Glorious with his family

Neil certainly has a passion for all things feathered. This formed what would be part of his Wish – to go bird watching at Mount Glorious with his family.

Having explored much of the world in pursuit of exotic birds, Neil listed Africa, Alaska, far South America and Trinidad as just some of his favourite travel destinations to find new feathered friends and tick them off his list.

Our volunteers were exceptional at guiding Neil down the walking trail and were rewarded with a smile that didn’t leave his face for the rest of the day.

Neil was in his element, his happy place. So much so, that he gave everyone that attended a running commentary of all the birds that were spotted.

A picnic lunch (with prawns!) in the surrounds of Mount Glorious capped off what was a marvellous day.
