Ms K’s wish was to enjoy a hand, arm and head massage at her home
A small gesture that made a big difference. Ambulance Wish fulfilled Ms K’s heartfelt Wish for a day of relaxation and treats at her home. Ms K, who desired nothing more than a soothing hand, arm and head massage, was treated to moments of pure relaxation thanks to Rebecca from Magic Hands Massage Therapy, a skilled remedial massage therapist.
The day got even better as AWQ provided morning tea courtesy of Queensland institution, Priestly’s Gourmet Delights. The spread included a passionfruit cheesecake, decadent chocolate and caramel tarts, and to the delight of Ms K’s four boys, monster cupcakes that were an instant hit!
You could not wipe the smile of Ms K’s face, expressing her utmost gratitude for the pampering massage and the delicious treats. Her boys could not stop raving about the cupcakes! A reminder of how much joy a simple wish can bring for families spending precious time together.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team for fulfilling this last wish.
Thank you to our service partner Metro South Health Community Palliative Care Team and the support of Rebecca from Magic Hands Massage Therapy and Priestley’s Gourmet Delights on this special occasion.
