Mark’s wish to have Santa visit his family and three Grandchildren
Christmas is a time for creating memories forever and for spending time with those closest to us as we celebrate the holidays and the end of another year. It is also a time for giving and for selflessness, and for Wish Recipient Mark that is certainly true as he wanted to create a magical Christmas event for his family.
Fulfilled onsite at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane, our team transformed the hospital’s beautiful courtyard, preparing it for several visitors and one very special guest. Joined by his sister Erin, grandchildren Leon, Mahlia and Remi, sons Sam with partner Samara, Troy with partner Kiri and Ben with partner Jamie, Mark was thrilled to be able to catch up with the people most special to him and spending quality time with them all.
But the fun didn’t stop there; what would Christmas be without a special visitor? Resplendent in red, beard glistening in the sunlight and carrying gifts for Mark’s grandchildren Leon, Mahlia and Remi, they were joined by the one and only Santa Claus. As the kids’ eyes lit up in expectation and wonder, Santa handed out the gifts one by one and posed for photos with the family, capping off a lovely family celebration.
A lovely Wish fulfilled and memories forever created thanks to our Wish team Jess, Molly, Kevin and Nathan in partnership with St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Brisbane. Thank you as well to Capalaba Central Shopping Centre for allowing Santa to visit this special occasion.
