Kiara Wish was to visit South Bank with her family and watch her children play in the water

For Kiara, getting outside for the first time in 3 weeks was an unexpected gift. To share it with her family at Southbank transformed it into a memory that will last forever.

Kiara’s wish was simple and beautiful – to watch her children play and dip her own toes in the water and walk on the sand.

South Bank Corporation and South Bank Surf Lifesaving Club, generously provided the children with towels, toys and surf packs to keep them entertained. The sound of her kids playing and laughing bought a smile across Kiara’s face, that could not be wiped off for the whole day.

To top the day off, this beautiful family was treated to fish and chips, followed by Ben & Jerry’s ice cream!

Kiara and her family appreciated their spectacular day out and making beautiful memories forever, together.

Thank you to our wonderful wish team Julie, Cameron, Elizabeth and Skea for fulfilling this last wish. A big thank you to South Bank Corporation, Ben and Jerry’s and South Bank Surf Lifesaving Club for going above and beyond to help make this day special for Kiara and her family and helping to create memories forever for her loved ones.

Thank you to our service partner Mater Hospital Brisbane on this special occasion.
