Karen’s wish was to attend the Dreams Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks Tribute Show with her children
Karen, a mother of three, had her lifelong dream come true with the help of her children Sunny, Daisy and Samuel. Karen’s children remember growing up with the sounds of Fleetwood Mac and the memories they shared while listening to those iconic tunes. As such it’s no wonder that Karen’s children chose to surprise their mother with tickets to the Dreams – Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks Tribute Show in Gympie.
As Karen arrived at the venue, she had no idea that her evening would become even more magical. The tribute band, knowing the significance of the moment, generously offered Karen a private encounter with lots of photos, and giving her a signed poster.
As the night progressed and the music played on, Karen’s spirit soared. She couldn’t resist the urge to stand up and stomp her feet along with her favourite songs. She danced with her children creating a beautiful, joyous memory that they would cherish together forever.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Sue, Chloe and Jo-Anne for fulfilling this last wish and for creating memories forever for her loved ones.
Thank you to our service partner Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Specialist Palliative Care Service, Dove House for their partnership. Thank you finally to the Dreams – Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nick’s Tribute Band and The Pavilion Gympie for going above and beyond to make Karen’s wish come true.
