Deb’s Wish was to visit Burleigh heads with her family
Deb’s Wish was to go to the beach one more time. Burleigh Beach was a perfect day — clear blue skies, golden sand and the sun shining brightly. As she came out of the Wish Ambulance, Deb had a big, beautiful smile. With help from our volunteer team and special beach mats, Deb enjoyed going down on the sand and closer to the water which she loved so much.
Deb was surrounded by love. Her husband, three children and her mum. They spent precious time together by the sea, enjoying the fresh air and the sound of the waves. It was a peaceful and happy moment, filled with love for Deb and lasting memories.
