Darryl’s Wish was to sit by the water on Bribie Island with his family
The perfect day out: Family, delicious food and dolphins! Darryl’s Wish was to sit by the water on Bribie Island with his family.
A morning draped in a grey rainy veil but that transformed into a beautiful day, Darryl was joined by his partner and stepsons for what turned out to be a Wish filled with love, laughter and memory making. The grey skies made way for sunshine as they were ready to make the most of the day.
One of the day’s highlights was the generously donated fish and chips from the wonderful team at Saviges Seafood. The fish was fresh, the chips were perfectly crispy, and Darryl couldn’t resist pairing it with a cold ginger beer. Dessert was next with a delicious rum and raisin ice-cream.
With dolphins frolicking in the water, the day ended magically for Darryl and his family. His heart full.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Kristy, Vicky and Jacinta for fulfilling this last wish and for creating memories forever for their loved ones.
Thank you to our service partner Metro North Hospital and Health Service – Caboolture Hospital and the support of Saviges Seafood on this special occasion.
