Brian’s wish was to visit his home
An emotional homecoming for Brian. His wish was simple: he just wanted to go home.
Home to see his dogs. Home to see his family.
Surrounded by those closest to him, and joined by a few special friends from church, Brian was able to spend time in a place that was as familiar as it was comforting.
The wish team couldn’t help but smile as they watched him lie back and revel in playtime with his pups, completely unaware of how much they had been missed as they ran around with tails wagging at full speed.
The heart of Brian’s wish wasn’t large or extravagant: it was about having his dogs at his side and spending time with his grandkids in the comfort of his home.
That’s what meant the most to Brian.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Georgia, Tom and Anuva for fulfilling this last wish and for creating memories forever for Brian’s loved ones.
Thank you to our service partner Metro North Hospital and Health Service – Caboolture Hospital Palliative Care Unit on this special occasion.
