Barry’s wish was to visit his home one more time
On Friday 29th September, Barry’s wish to see his home one more time and spend the morning with his family was fulfilled by Ambulance Wish Queensland. Barry enjoyed a morning of being out on his patio with his wife Jenny and family including Michael, Bronwen, Susan, Greg, Grace, Olivia, Flinn, Delaine and reclining in his favourite armchair with his beloved cat Ollie.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Bethany, Cameron and Kylie-Anne for fulfilling this last wish and Nathan Hughes Photography for creating memories forever for Barry’s loved ones.
Thank you to our service partner West Moreton Health – Ipswich Hospital Palliative Care Unit on this special occasion.
Ambulance Wish Queensland is the signature program of Palliative Care Queensland Inc. and is proudly supported by the Queensland Government. We thank the staff and volunteers at both Queensland Health and Queensland Ambulance Service who help our Palliative Care Queensland team to fulfil wishes and create memories.
We would also like to thank our SEQ Hub Local Supporting partners Mingary Care and GQS for their support of Ambulance Wish Queensland’s South-East Queensland Hub
