Andrew’s Wish was to have a picnic with his family by the water and a surprise to the Redcliffe Dolphins homebase Kayo stadium
A wonderful Wish down by the water and a surprise visit to a favourite stadium. Andrew’s Wish was to have a picnic at Redcliffe overlooking the bay.
Andrew spent most of the early afternoon taking in the salty sea air and enjoying the serenity of water.
No trip to the water would be complete without Fish and Chips for lunch – a meal that was exactly what Andrew wanted.
As the trip came to end, our Wish team had one last surprise. Andrew has been a loyal fan of the Dolphins and a regular visitor to Kayo stadium since the QRL days. Under the guise of a fake check engine light, our Wish Team pulled into Kayo stadium.
To their surprise, Andrew caught on!
‘I know these speed humps, these are the Kayo stadium speed humps!’
Thank you to The Dolphins who joined us at Kayo stadium and gifted a jersey and a hat.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Ryan, Chloe and James for fulfilling this last wish and Ange Costes Photography for creating memories forever for his loved ones.
Thank you to our service partner Metro North Hospital and Health Service – Redcliffe Hospital Palliative Care Unit and the support of the Redcliffe Dolphins on this special occasion.
