Andrew’s wish is to visit his new unit with his wife
For many of us, home is where the heart is, a special place where we feel safe, secure and somewhere where we make forever memories. That is undoubtedly true for Andrew and Tiffany, and Ambulance Wish Queensland was delighted to help Andrew fulfil his last Wish and spend time at home with Tiffany, their cute bundle of furry mischief, Bucky and Andrew’s parents and sister.
Andrew and Tiffany met in 2005 and married in 2013, settling together in Cloncurry in the state’s northwest before relocating to Brisbane and purchasing a stunning new unit that would be their forever home. A pair of dog lovers, they have had fur babies over the years and, following a two-year break, welcomed the delightfully mischievous and undeniably cute Bucky as a recent addition into their lives.
As a result, Andrew and Tiffany’s new home means the world to them, and they have created a wonderful environment with unique finishing touches that truly turn a house into a home. Unfortunately, Andrew has not been able to spend as much time as he would have liked in their new unit, so today’s wish was very important to him as he was able to spend quality time at home and share special moments with Tiffany, Bucky, mum Jeanette, dad Jeff and sister Toni.
One such finishing touch is the couple’s custom made couch. Designed and specified by Andrew and Tiffany, their custom made couch was beset by production and delivery delays, and, until today, Andrew had not had the opportunity to enjoy sitting on the fruits of their interior design skills.
On a day packed with many highlights and special moments, we feel that the look of satisfaction and happiness on Andrew’s face as he took pride of place on the sofa is a memory that will last a lifetime for the couple and their loved ones.
Thank you to Jess, Anissa, Eunice, Rosalind and Jason, who fulfilled Andrew’s Wish, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane and Ange Costes Photography team for their support.
Ambulance Wish Queensland is proudly supported by the Queensland Government, and we thank the staff and volunteers at both Queensland Health and Queensland Ambulance Service who help our Palliative Care Queensland team to fulfil wishes and create memories forever.
