Ambulance Wish Queensland Welcomes Country To Coast QLD as a Major Local Sponsor for the Sunshine Coast Hub.
Palliative Care Queensland’s signature program Ambulance Wish Queensland is thrilled to announce that Country to Coast, QLD, has joined our growing family of supporters as the first major Local Sponsor for our newly established Sunshine Coast Hub. This sponsorship marks a significant milestone in our mission to fulfill last wishes of people with a life-limiting illness on the Sunshine Coast.
With Country to Coast, QLD’s generous sponsorship, Ambulance Wish Queensland will be able to expand their signature program, which relies heavily on donations, sponsorships, fundraising, and in-kind contributions. This vital support will enable us to reach more residents facing life limiting illnesses, creating memories for them and their families during such a crucial time.
Country to Coast, QLD, Chief Executive Officer, Julie Sturgess, is delighted to support Palliative Care Queensland’s Ambulance Wish Queensland, recognising how this invaluable service creates lasting memories for terminally ill residents and their families.

With service partners, Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Palliative Care Services, Little Haven Palliative Care and Katie Rose Cottage Hospice, already established in the region, the outreach of positive palliative care will only continue to rise – creating a community of love, joy, and positivity for everyone involved.
To celebrate this major sponsorship and the launch of the Sunshine Coast hub, a community event will take place on Wednesday 4th September from 12 to 3pm at Noosa Seniors, Noosaville.
