Adam’s Wish was to ride in a helicopter over Townsville

Adam has always wanted to see Townsville through a different lens. This was his Wish, to take a helicopter ride over his hometown.

And what a day it was. With clear skies after a week of rain and overcast conditions, Adam arrived at Townsville Helicopters with his mum and sisters. The wonderful staff there welcomed Adam with open arms and onto their Robinson 44 aircraft.

Adam then took off with pilot Marco as his guide. They flew over his much-loved hometown, pointing out favourite spots and spying new areas from a gorgeous view. His smile was wide, and his eyes were lit up with joy as he recognised the various spots, he called home. Cape Cleveland and The Strand were just some of the fantastic spots he was flown over.

A keen angler too, Adam was able to see his ‘secret spots’ from the air.

The team at Townsville Helicopters went above and beyond to ensure Adam’s Wish was fulfilled and to make the experience extra special for him and his loved ones.

“It was absolutely fantastic; I had an amazing time!”

We’re so glad you got to experience your special day, Adam.
