Jacob’s wish was to meet the Brisbane Broncos
A Broncos fan through and through. Jacob’s wish was to meet with his favourite players, Reece Walsh and Patty Carrigan.
The Broncos were incredible hosts, welcoming Jacob with warmth and taking the time to chat with him – so much so that he felt like part of the team.
Along the way, Jacob was gifted an array of Broncos merch: from a 2025 Premiers ball and Broncos caps to a signed jersey, special keepsakes that put a smile on his face that didn’t fade.
The one thing that stood out though, was the kindness and compassion shown by each of the Broncos Players. Every interaction was unhurried and genuine. Both Reece and Patty took the time to make an impact on Jacob, talking all things footy and season predictions.
Jacob smiled throughout the entire wish, and he kept smiling long after the wish was fulfilled.
