Danielle’s wish was to stand in the water at Burleigh Heads beach with her family

A family outing like no other. Danielle’s wish was to stand in the water at Burleigh Heads beach with her family.

A wish that was simple but deeply meaningful; to spend time with her children and family at the beach. A day of pure connection as she watched her children play.

With the help of the beach wheelchair, she was able to reach the water and stand with feet in the swell, assisted by our incredible volunteers and husband, allowing her to fully enjoy the moment as her kids made sandcastles at the water’s edge.

The sunshine was in full effect as it shone down on a day filled with happiness and memory making for the whole family. A treasured experience that will be carried in their hearts forever.
