Terry’s wish was to meet the Dolphin NRL Team
A morning to put the Phins up! Terry’s wish was to meet the Dolphins and what an unforgettable memory it turned out to be.
Terry, accompanied by his 8 sisters, wife and mum, as well as some brothers in law and nephew, great niece and great nephew, was greeted by two of his favourite players, Felise Kaufusi and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, along with many of the core team. He was proudly presented a signed jersey, while players eagerly offered autographs and posed for photos.
Such a NRL fanatic, Terry even shared his wish for a future try celebration, asking for a special “T” sign to mark the moment next year.
The morning was topped off by a relaxing sea breeze down at Suttons Beach, where Terry shared a special apple turnover with his mum, soaking in the sunshine, listening to the ocean lap at the shore and revelling in the simple pleasure of being together.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team John, Nic, Ange and Daisy for fulfilling this last wish and for creating memories forever for his loved ones.
Thank you to our service partner Metro North Hospital and Health Service- Redcliffe Hospital Palliative Care Team and the support of The Dolphins on this special occasion.
