Lynette’s wish was to visit Burleigh Heads with her family

A trip back to familiar walking tracks of Burleigh Heads. All Lynette wanted was to  be guided along the esplanade.

This area was special to Lynette. It’s the place she used to take her pups for a run along the beach, a place to experience what the Gold Coast truly had to offer and a place that made her feel at home. This connection is what made her want to return one last time.

After trips up and down the esplanade on a cool coastal morning, Lynette requested a morning tea treat: sorbet. She made sure to sample all the available flavours before settling on a crowd favourite: mango. She sat happily with her sister and nephew, watching the waves roll in and reminiscing about her favourite times spent here.
