Colleen’s wish was to visit her home with her family

Colleen’s wish was one that meant a lot to her and those she loves – to return home and spend a morning surrounded by the comfort and love of her family.

After being taken to hospital and learning that she wouldn’t be able to return home long term, this wish made the reunion with her home extra special.

The morning was filled with touching moments, from Colleen reuniting with her playful bird, Coco, to seeing the recent completed renovations, there was laughter and smiles all round.

The return home was topped off with her favourite glass of flavoured sparkling water, shared amongst her family, as they reminisced and soaked in every precious moment together in the place that was so familiar to her.

It was heartwarming to see what being home meant to Colleen and what it meant to be surrounded by love, comfort and belonging.
