Aidan’s Wish was to attend his living wake with his family and friends

To celebrate with them, rather than after them is one of life’s greatest gifts. Aidan’s Wish was to attend a living wake with his family and friends.

A joyous carnival atmosphere welcomed Aidan as he arrived as the guest of honour at his very own living wake. There was a jumping castle for the kids, a cute farm animal enclosure and a face painting station where even the adults adorned themselves with a splash of vibrant face paint

Aidan was treated to a feast befitting a king, complete with a medieval themed cake and Donna’s World-Famous Shepherds Pie. One of Aidan’s favourite meals.

Family and friends travelled from all across Australia. Made up of extended family, games night friends and former work colleagues. They came with stories and video messages reminiscing of their time with Aidan, with many highlighting his kind and gentle nature. One memory included a rather humorous attempt at growing out his curly hair, which eventually had to be straightened with an iron.

Aidan’s Wish brought together a celebration of love and life. A Wish that will leave an imprint and legacy through the moments they shared together.
