Chris’s Wish was to have a restaurant quality meal prepared for him at home with his family and friends
A restaurant quality meal in the comfort of home surrounded by family. There is nothing more special than a wish like Chris’s.
Joined by his closest, and even the family dog, Chris was chaperoned home to a house that smelled like a world class meal. Chef Nacho (Executive Chef of Hillstone St Lucia) had been preparing food since early that afternoon, filling the home with sweet and savory aromas. Our volunteers decorated the interior, making the table for 8 feel like a 5-star restaurant.
Chris and his partner are true foodies. Even to the point that they moved to Melbourne to fully embrace the incredible food scene. So, Chef Nacho had a lot of expectation. But he surpassed it with flying colours.
He curated a 5-course meal customised to Chris’s favourite ingredients and designed a custom menu with wine pairings, so that everyone could see what it was they were eating throughout the night. Each dish designed and cooked with such care and passion that it has now become one of Chris’s favourites.
The evening couldn’t have gone any better, and with many leftovers for the week ahead, the memories of this special night will be cherished long after the plates have been cleared.
