Desley’s Wish was to attend her 70th Birthday Party/ Celebration of Life Party
Desley had been looking forward to a celebration of life party for her 70th birthday, a special event planned months in advance at Porters Plainland Hotel. Although her actual birthday was after the event, the party was held earlier to bring everyone together. Family from all corners of the country flew in to mark this milestone and surround her with love. Coincidentally, it was also her husband’s birthday– a shared moment of joy. Surrounded by smiling faces and lots of hugs, she shared, “It means the world to me to be able to be here today and see everyone again.” The day was filled with love, laughter and gratitude – a beautiful reminder of the connection of family and friends.
