Jason’s Wish was to put his feet in the water at Greenmount Beach
An afternoon of joy, laughter and genuine connection. Jason’s Wish was to put his feet in the water at Greenmount Beach.
Surrounded by close to 50 friends and family, Jason’s anticipation to feel the cool water and breathe in the salty air could not be matched.
With his feet touching the water, Jason had one more request – to go deeper into the water so that he could float. Our Wish team happily obliged and, with the help of family and friends, Jason ventured out deeper.
That was until a big wave got the better of everyone! With perfect timing, the wave soaked everyone in its path, including Jason and his family. What followed was a chorus of shrieks and gasps, not out of surprise or fear but pure joy. Everyone laughed and laughed – the kind that made passersby smile and laugh along.
Jason was joined by a lot of people he met along his journey, even people he used to work with. They all had incredible stories about him, complimenting his generosity and kindness (even though in some cases he was a manager and 20 years their junior!)
It was clear how much of an impact Jason had on the lives of everyone around him.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Bradley, Pierce, Kate and Tammy for fulfilling this last wish and Ange Costes Photography for creating memories forever for their loved ones.
