Lois’s Wish was to celebrate Christmas with her family
An early Christmas celebration for Lois and her family – a Wish that will stay with her family for a long time to come 💛
More than 20 friends and family gathered at Lois’s house for this jolly event. Her face lit up as she saw her best friend, sister, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren join the celebration. And who could forget Lois’s beloved pooch – Holly – named as such because she was Christmas dog!
Christmas Day for Lois and her family is always spent downstairs at the back of the house, under the pergola, right beside the crystal-clear pool. The grandkids all took the day off school to be with “Granny”—as she’s affectionately known by everyone, including her own children! The family has many fond memories of Christmas gatherings here over the years.
With the grill fired up, the smell of a traditional Aussie feast filled the air. A fantastic spread of BBQ favourites, including fresh prawns – straight from the trawler, courtesy of some family friends. You couldn’t get any fresher than that!
It was Christmas cupcakes for dessert and the exchange of gifts between families. A day filled with love, laughter and cherished memories!
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Sue, Mekayla, Dale and Claire for fulfilling this last wish and Ange Costes Photography for creating memories forever for Lois’s loved ones.
Thank you to our service partner Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service- Robina Hospital Palliative Care Unit on this special occasion.
