Helping improve the quality of life of those with a life limiting condition.
Why did you choose to volunteer with Ambulance Wish Queensland?
I like to think it makes a difference in the community. It also benefits me personally by enhancing my values and increasing my interests
I meet amazing people who inspire me.
How do you see Ambulance Wish Queensland in the community?
In the broader community most people who are not affected by a life limiting disease do not know about ambulance wish. In the health care and academic setting, there is a growing understanding of the value of ambulance wish.
How do you see Ambulance Wish Queensland impacting Wish Recipient’s and their friends and family?
Ambulance wish is simple yet compelling, giving the recipient the opportunity to create something special that brings them and others joy and peace.
Do you have any key memories of a Wish you have been on?
Seeing a young man, who had overcome a life of addiction and crime, only to be told he had a short time left, laugh. 🚑❤️🦋
