Don’s Wish was to visit his RSL and return his life membership

A life member of Thuringowa RSL, Don’s Wish was to visit the local and return his membership.

Ready to enjoy a drink at the bar and a bit of a go in the gaming room, Don rocked up to Thuringowa RSL beaming. He took immense pride in donating his 100-year ANZAC commemorative $1 coin and a lighter inscribed with a personal poem alongside his membership to the RSL. These items now displayed in the cabinet at the Thuringowa RSL.

An avid Coca Cola collector, Don lays claim to the largest Coca Cola collection in North Queensland. During his visit, he was gifted a Coca Cola glass, jug, and two footballs—a delightful surprise that he truly appreciated.

The visit was even more enjoyable as he reunited with the staff who recognised him from his previous visits, allowing him to reminisce about old times.
