Sandy’s wish was to meet the Redcliffe Dolphins
There are some stories that revolve around a love of footy, and for Sandy, rugby league has always been a big part of hers. Her wish was to meet the Redcliffe Dolphins.
Growing up in New South Wales, Sandy never missed an opportunity to follow the game she loved. Years later, that passion remains just as strong, with Sandy proudly cheering on the Dolphins.
Accompanied by her husband, who shared the special day alongside her, Sandy enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the club facilities, the opportunity to meet players and staff, a chance to hold the prestigious Arthur Beetson Medal for Player of the Year, and a Dolphins jersey signed by the team.
It was a day filled with excitement, smiles, and plenty of conversations about the game that means so much to her. Sharing the experience with her husband made it even more memorable, creating treasured memories that Sandy and her family will cherish for years to come.

Thank you to our wonderful wish team Kate and Lisa for fulfilling this last wish and for creating memories forever for their loved ones.
Thank you to our service partner Metro North Health – Community Palliative Care Service and the support of Redcliffe Dolphins on this special occasion.
